The music ministry at Christ Presbyterian Church exists to help our congregation lift their voices together in worship. Each week, the team leads worship on Sunday mornings and gathers on Thursday nights for rehearsal and preparation. The team also participates in special music events throughout the year. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just beginning, we welcome all skill levels and provide a place to grow in your gifts. Our Music Coordinator, Alethea Ingram, has been serving in her role since May 2026.

About Alethea

Alethea is a recent graduate of Wheaton College, where she earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, along with a certificate in organ performance. She has loved music from a young age and began serving in church music during high school. Alethea also enjoys teaching private lessons and sharing music through performance opportunities.

She began attending CPC in Roselle as a freshman in college. While attending Wheaton College, she served for two years as accompanist for the Wheaton College Women’s Chorale. In 2026, she began working as Music Coordinator, organizing the worship team for Sunday services and working alongside the session to help plan weekly worship. Her responsibilities include regularly playing piano and singing during services, as well as managing the administrative tasks that support worship services that glorify God and encourage meaningful congregational participation each week.

Recently, Alethea and her husband welcomed their first child, Miriam, into the world. In her free time, Alethea enjoys baking sourdough, playing piano, and spending time with family.
